Eddie is a New York-based music director and accompanist from Cleveland, OH. His resume boasts credits from across Northern Ohio as far east as the Grand Valley Region, as far west as Sandusky, and far south as Mohican Country. He has worked on shows from theatre camps to the National Tour of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! the Musical. 

 

Eddie's is best known for his work at Mercury Theatre Company, Cleveland's premier summer stock company. Since 2009, Eddie has worked on an eclectic selection of productions from Show Boat to Legally Blonde the Musical. His credits at Mercury also include the Ohio premiere of the updated Cinderella by Rodgers & Hammerstein as well as the Cleveland Regional Premiere of Disney's The Little Mermaid. He received four Cleveland Critics' Circle Awards for Musical Direction for Mercury's productions of GodspellMe and My Girl, Joseph...Dreamcoat, and Li'l Abner.

Eddie's musical and theatrical origins belong to Rabbit Run Community Arts Association in his hometown of Madison, OH. His theatre career began at Rabbit Run Theater where he spent ten consecutive summers at getting his start as an actor, eventually finding his way to accompanying musical theatre. Eddie accompanied his first full musical, Ragtime, at the age of sixteen. A few months later, Eddie music directed his first show, Seussical, at the Geauga Lyric Theatre Guild in Chardon, OH.

Eddie graduated from Ashland University in December 2013 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. He studied piano under legendary Ashland faculty member, Elizabeth Pastor. He also earned a minor in Theatre. During his time at AU, Eddie served as the official unofficial music director of the Department of Theatre serving as Music Director and Accompanist for the Drop of a Hat Musical Theatre Troupe,  main stage productions of Sunday in the Park with George, Richard Taylor's Whistle Down the Wind, Little Shop of Horrors, as well as the accompanist for departmental auditions for prospective students. The productions of Sunday and Whistle earned him two Excellence in Musical Direction honors from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.

In January 2017, Eddie made his Feinstein's/54 Below debut where he had the honor of accompanying Daisy Eagan, winner of the 1991 Tony Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical, on "Hold On" from The Secret Garden.

Eddie enjoys spending time with his family and friends - his family and closest friends are his most cherished possessions. He is a Britney Spears aficionado and currently lives in Manhattan.
